(2) Have completed all or almost all of the merit badges required for Eagle. Follow this link for list of these.
(3) Talk to Sis. Holmstead and get Eagle forms and worksheets. She can also help you review any other requirements you may still need to complete.
(4) Get a basic idea of what you want to do for your project. Note that you need to come up with your own project idea. This is YOUR project and you need to take full responsibility for it! To come up with your own idea and plan, talk to others who have done projects, and see what they did. Some other sources of ideas include the Pleasant Grove rangers station, Lehi City, Sis. Thayne and our emergency preparedness committee, local schools, and online searches for "Eagle project ideas."
(5) Find out who your main contacts would be for your project and think of your basic approach and details for your project.
(6) Sis. Holmstead will then get you set up with an Eagle counselor from the district to work with.
(7) Meet with the Eagle counselor, get your project written up and finalized and signed off.
(8) Before and after your Eagle project, the forms require signatures from the following: scout leader (usually scoutmaster), scout committee person (usually Sis. Holmstead), and your Eagle counselor.
(9) Once your initial forms are signed, you can do your project. Coordinate times with scout leader (Bro. Mac).
(10) After your project is done, make sure all is done and written up, and final signatures obtained.
(11) Then you get with your scout leader (Bro. Mac) for final Scoutmaster Conference.
(12) Then you set up with your Eagle counselor a time and date for your Eagle Board of Review.
